Unusual item of local interest. Would be a great contribution to a local historical society! Rice Lake Chronotype has an oversized folder with 9 (plus 2) newspaper sections inside… Complete! 100 year anniversary of the newspaper, I believe, dated September 11, 1974 (50 years old!). Folder is about 13 x 17 inches. Unfolded the newspapers are about 22 ½ x 33 inches. I think only 8800 copies were ever made and there can’t be very many left! Section A is 3 sections with 46 pages. Each of the other 8 sections are 16 pages each. Includes Municipality, lumber industry, farm heritage, vacation land, modern main, Barron County, social scene and industries! Quite a prize for the local historian! As shown. Newspaper shows generally minor wear with more wear and a few smallish tears to edges. Folder shows heavy wear, edge tears, some wrinkling. Pages tanned but easy enough to read. Rare.
