C. letterhead card, 4.25 x 3.25, Feb 3 (no year), Frankfurter writes to "Morris," in part: "...Many thanks for your paper...All best to you! F. F.". Small mounting traces on the reverse, otherwise fine, clean condition. Comes with a5 x 7 photo of him in his court robe. He was active politically,helping to found the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)in 1920.Given a chair at Harvard in 1921. Felix Frankfurter (1882-1965) was a friend and advisor toPresident Franklin D. Rooseveltwho appointed him to the Supreme Court in 1939. He was a noted advocate of judicial restraint in the judgments of the Court. #10314
