Ann Berthoin received most of her artistic training in France.
She was a self-employed artist for 40 years, working as a copper
enamelist and children's book illustrator. She lived in Monterey
County and Carmel Valley for 27 years. For 12 years, she headed
the French department at Santa Catalina School. She was co-owner
of the Coco LaFleur Restaurant at the Valley Hills Center in Carmel Valley.
