Achille Bloch Paris Hand Painted Pink Rose Floral Gold & Ormolu Trinket BoxPretty porcelain large trinket box or small jewelry casket. Decorated in with hand painted pink, blue, orange, and yellow flowers framed in elaborate gold gilt floral scrollwork on the lid. With gold gilt floral and leaf designs along the sides of the box. Has gold gilding along the rims and gilt ormolu mounts. Marked on the bottom Made in France in red above blue crossed arrows with the letters AB. Made by Achille Bloch in Paris, probably during the early 20th century before the factory was taken over by his son Robert Bloch and renamed Porcelaine De Paris.Has some wear to the gilding and wear and tarnish to the gilt ormolu mounts, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.Measures approximately 6 3/4 inches long x 4 3/4 inches wide x 3 1/8 inches tall.This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.JS
