ANTIQUE Royal Vienna Hand Painted Demitasse Tea Coffee Cup 2.5" Tall No Saucer
This is an AMAZING ANTIQUE Royal Vienna demitasse tea cup made in the early 1800s. It is a BEAUTIFUL Georgian design with hand painted blue flowers and gold gilting on the handle, rim, bottom and around the hand painted design. It is a GORGEOUS light lime green color on the bottom and bright blues. greens and gold on the top. The handle is a prime example of Georgian design. There is the classic Royal Vienna Hutschenreuther beehive on the bottom (slightly askew) and an impressed date code for 1809. This cup is in VERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION! There are no chips, cracks, scratches or discoloration. There are 3 popped glaze bubbles on one side that look like they were caused by excessive heat (see last photo).
