1953 Australian OA leather bayonet Scabbard 11 1/2 in L stamped MA53 E496 gently used Australian leather bayonet Scabbard 11 1/2 in L marked on Chape: \"OA\" and on Locket: \"OA\" Australian Small Arms Factory at Orange. back is marked W and MA53 “MA” manufacturer’s mark. The leather scabbard body was produced by the Sydney-area tannery, Mangrovite Belting Pty. Ltd. Mangrovite began operation in 1913 and continued into the early-1990s.
