This vintage medal with grosgrain ribbon is a unique piece of nautical memorabilia that will appeal to collectors and enthusiasts alike. It was produced in the United States in 1976 for the Manhattan Yacht Club, NY and features a multi-hull sailboat design on the front in high relief. The back states, "M.Y.C. MUTI-HULL MID-WINTERS 1976". It is most likely made of bronze, at least the front! The original ribbon is red, white and blue, and is soiled somewhat, faded somewhat and has some fraying. But hey, it's almost 50 years old! The medal itself is in very good condition.This is a must-have item for anyone interested in boat and ship collectibles, sailing or yacht club memorabilia.
