Vintage figurine of a mare and foal, produced by V.E.B. Zierkeramik Katzhütte between 1985 and 1990 in what was then called East Germany. The figurine is authenticated by the cat and roof hallmark in green and a gold coloured tag which states 'MADE IN GDR'. Both the mare and foal are standing on a cream coloured porcelain stand the stand measures approximately 20.4 cm(8 in) across and at the widest point 6.4 cm (2 1/2 in) in depth, from the horses ear to the ground it measures approximately 19 cm (7 1/2 in) high. There are signs of age wear but this is to be expected, it is overall in good condition. Please see photographs as they too form part of this description.
