Tupolev TU-154B-2 , serial number 0445, was first put into service in the USSR in 1980. Registration was then CCCp-85445. 445 was utilised in a special role. It served as a personal aircraft to the Kyiv Military district Command , based at the military unit 13786 (nowadays the 15th Transport Aviation Brigade of Ukrainian Air Force) at the Boryspil International Airport.
Config 132 seat, the 445 was painted in standard Aeroflot Livery, a widely used practise by the Soviet Air Force to disguise military transport.Post 1992 continued with the Ukrainian Air Force with designation UR and stayed with the Air Force until 1998.A brief lease to BSL Airlines in mid 1990’s.Last landing 7 May 1998 UR-85445 landed at Boryspil International Airport.After 1998, 445 was a donor aircraft for the remaining active TU-154 fleet in Ukraine.Final decommissioning in 2020.
