ITEM DESCRIPTION:

RARE 1945 Engraved Glass Book Ends WWII Passau Germany 125th Evac. Hospital.Believe these to be book ends and quite rare. Did a little research but couldn't come up with much - 2/Lt. Betty Woestman was a nurse apart of the 125th Evac. Hospital. The glass is engraved beautifully showing nature scenes at the top. These ARE DAMAGED - there are chips out of most of the corners and the left one has a large chunk broken off. The left end is much clearer glass, the right one has some fogginess.
