Here is an incredible estate find. I acquired a few pieces from a gentleman's collection who passed earlier this year. This item caught my attention immediately when I entered the room ! See my other listings for anotherextraordinary piece of trench art.
The engraving is very nice and very visible.
Souvenir of Agronne Nov. 1918 I'm no expert so I cant tell you what type of ammo this was used in. I will leave that to you experts. Not sure what the initials are on thereverse side? Looks like F C M .
Dimensions: 6+" tall and roughly 1.5" diameter at the base.
