1869 Cincinnati Reds Complete Full Starting 9 1st MLB Team Cdv Cabinet Card Lot:
$500000.00

Complete 1869 Reds starting nine set. Various publishers. Side by sides are in alphabetical order: 1. Doug Allison 2. Asa Brainard 3. Charlie Gould 4. Andy Leonard 5. Cal McVey 6. Charlie Sweasy 7. Fred Waterman 8. George Wight 9. Harry Wright. The Brainard is published by Mathew Brady. It is the earliest form of a cabinet card. Brady called them “Imperial” cdv’s. I think the only people who couldn’t make this as Brainard is the crooked slime balls that have a death grip on the 19th century market. The Brainard is important to baseball history and card collecting history. The puke bags that run the industry are important to God knows who. They will get theirs from God. The Brainard and Allison are a little less than 5 by 7 inch. The rest are cdv’s and measure about 2 by 4 inch in size. Different degrees of condition on each card. Feel free to ask questions.
