WW2 Era Japanese Pathology Surgical blade. The top of the blade inscribed Nothung... Nacht, the case inscribed Keijo Imperial University School of Medicine Department of Pathology, Common Pathology. So possibly German made blade. A few small chips in blade, otherwise sharp, not sure what type of handle it had but it's not present. Box is 12 1/8" long, some wear and lose joinery to box.
