Vintage Blue Lusterware Dipping or Trinket Dishes with Hand Painted Crane Japan:

This pretty set of five vintage lusterware dishes feature a blue background with a hand painted crane or swan taking flight from black and gold gilding hand painted reeds. The lusterware reflects shades of pinkish-purple. The dishes have dots of hand painted gold gilding around the rim.
The dishes measure approximately 3-7/8" long x 2-1/4" wide x 5/8" tall.The pieces are in good vintage condition. There are utensil marks and fading to the blue lusterware finish. The gold gilding paint around the rim shows fading, and there are flea-bites around the rim with one of the dishes having a deeper flea-bite. The hand painted design in the dishes is intact. The bottom of the pieces show wear consistent with age. Please review the photos carefully so you are confident in your purchase.
