This vintage Gillette razor set from the 1920s is a must-have for any collection. Made of gold-plated brass, this safety razor is a beautiful and functional piece of history. Crafted in the United States, this razor set is a testament to American craftsmanship and ingenuity.

Top has a nice and smooth gold luster. The open comb teeth are in excellent shape and the stabilizer pins are rock solid. The razor head provides superb blade clamping and a highly efficient shave. The handle knurling and ball end are in fine condition. There is a minor hairline crack on the smooth collar at the top of the handle. This does NOT affect the shave. I have this same razor (Canadian version) with a crack on the bottom part of the handle and it shaves like a gem with the handle being snug and not torqued. This is a classic vintage Gillette.

I’m having a hard time parting with the razor, and especially the case. It’s a little tattered inside and out, but the outside is a gorgeous leather. It’s a warm rich brown leather that has an alligator kind of look to it. It’s really stylish for sure. This is a true keeper of a set.
