Two Antique 19th Century FrenchArt Nouveau Solid Bronze CandleHolder For Sale

Each candle stick is approximately 4" square and 6-7/8" high. Base and waist have detailed floral patterns. On the corner of each base is hidden a green man face inside of interwoven vines, leaves and fruit! Candle cups are removable to adapt to differnt size candles. Both are marked with an "S" in a "Crucible", attributing these to Edwin Showell of Birmingham. This date was used from 1894 to 1928.

The candlesticks are beautiful and have a beautiful story. They are heavy, they weigh more than 6 pounds.

Please be sure to look at the photos so you can see some details due to the use of time. They need cleaning. One of them at the top that rotates looks a little from the side, but That doesn't affect anything.
