A Very Pretty - LAND FIND - 2.0” x 1.33” Isurus Hastalis Mako Shark Tooth Fossil recovered on private property from the Hawthorn Formation in South West,Florida.It offers phenomenal,transitioning colors & patterns under its glossy,glass like enamel with a killer,dagger shape & nice size too.It has some kool SELF-INFLICTED BITE MARKS on the blade as it fell from its mouth it chomped down a few more times & down the center of the nondisplay side you can see more self-inflicted marks from the tip of its teeth.So koooool!Must’ve been on a feeding frenzy to chomp down that many times & a nice specimen that will look fabulous in your collection,If you’re familiar with this location/ formation you already know how killer this tooth is & most of it’s private property & off-limits to fossil hunting.But,if it’s a new location to you this is a special & different fossil & will look great in your collection.No repair or restoration & measured with digital calipers.
