Not sure of the age of these wonderful post cards but the images are from the early 1940's. Once a week Indians from the nearby Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation would come in to Hayward and present a pow wow for the entertainment of the tourists. The beauty of the dress and dance is shown here. The backs of the cards are blank like the one pictured. These were found at a Hayward estate sale.
