This antique tobacco silk was issued by Egyptienne Luxury Cigarettes in the early 1910's to help sell their brands of cigarettes. The silk features the college seal and name of Harvard University with classic red background. These silks look fantastic when framed or put in a shadow box. Perfect for any Harvard alumni. These silks are sometimes referred to as college silks, cigarette silks and sport silks. Small, only a couple of inches long. Excellent piece of Americana.
