This transmitter was used in a variety of two place observation aircraft for recon and artillery fire adjustment.,The SCR 65-A, BC-15A was the first spark gap radio telegraph set used in aircraft during 1918. The transmitter is quite small considering the technology of the day, 6.5 inches wide, 7.5 inches long and 3.5 inches high.
