Vintage Wagner Ware No 6 (1056V) Cast Iron Skillets Excellent Restored Condition For Sale

This vintage Wagner Ware No 6 skillet dates sometime between 1935-1959 andis in excellent restored condition. The cooking surface still restrains it factory polishing marks. The surface also has light utensil scores and fine etching fromcorrosion. These are nearly undetectable as you glide your fingers over avery smooth surface. Six sheets of printer paper slipped under one edge on thebottom stops movement on a granite surface. No chips, cracks or repairsand does not spin.

Test for flatness of skillet. With the skillet resting on apolished granite surface, press down all along the top rim searching formovement. If movement is found, slip pieces of printer paper under oneedge of the until pot stops moving.

This item is from an old collection and was cleaned andseasoned, then stored for many years. Because the item was stored for manyyears, there may be spots of light surface rust. This can generally bewashed away then re-seasoned before use. This item is photographed invery bright light to highlight fine details. Under these lighting conditions, itemsmay take on a brown color.
