1/50 Pacmin Model Airplane; KLM 747-206B; HUGE:

This is a very large KLM model 747-206B. The kind that was used in the old days by select travel agencies in big cities. You just cannot find these airplanes anymore it seems, these days. This is not a small model. This is the \"Rijn\" PH-BUF, replica of the airplane involved in the 27 March 1977 Tenerife crash. Restoration of the 70\'s KLM livery started and 75% ready but of course you could sand it back down and put your favorite airline livery on, as is the case with all models. You can make this into any 747-100 or -200. I say that because it has the original (shorter) upper deck, not the -300 and up stretched deck, Wings come off. Wingspan is 4 feet. Yes, 48\"; look at the coke can. The length is 55\". Scale is 1/50th which makes it twice as large as the 747 model I have on elsewhere. Manufacturer is Pacific Miniatures (PACMIN). No stand.
