Description:
FS2004 The Oil Rigs Scenery in Diao Yu Island (DIAO YU TAI) The Kantan 3 is a semi submersible oil rig, owned by the Shanghai Offshore. It has been used extensivley in the China Sea's for oil and gas exploration. A semi-submersible is a floating platform that can be towed or self manouvered to just about any location, when in position it will "sink" part of it's hull so that just the top of the supports and main topside are still above the surface, once stable it can start drilling. Due to it's mobility, semi-subs are used primarily for exploration and test drilling. This is a fairly close representation of Trenton-Mercer County airport in Trenton, New Jersey.Not being a scenery designer... the airport enhancement of the default scenery was made with both Lago's Scenery enhancer and Runway 12 (mostly for aircraft and a few of the Vehicles.) You Will need both Lago's scenery enhancer and Runway12 - one being payware - the other freeware.One major addition was made to the airport, using Lago - Trenton-Mercer's new Executive hangers and/or office-supply space which is located to the left of the main terminal. Mercer County is primarily an Executive Airport... represented well with Flightsim's default scenery (Note: the larger of the two terminals IS the Executive Terminal.Remember too, if you have lago ... click and start the scenery editor... you will see trenton-mercer county show up in the menu... if you highlight and click on that.. I do believe you will be able to add your own little special touches to the exsisting file... if you do and you think they came out particularly will... e-mail me... would LOVE to replace mine with your additions Dalecaruso.
